ContractWriter Installation & Setup Guide 1 INSTALL from WEBSITE: Visit our Download page at www.PowerToolsSoftware.com. Select the link to download ContractWriter File. Download the Installation File “ContractWriterInstall.exe” to the folder of your choice. Use Start | Run to run the file “ContractWriterInstall.exe“. If you need additional help or step-by-step instructions for downloading a file from a website, please review and print the Download Guide on our website. 2 OPEN the CONTRACTWRITER FOLDER Double-Click the icon named ContractWriter on your desktop. This will open a window that will display your ContractWriter files. 3 START CONTRACTWRITER Double-Click the file named ContractWriter Master File.xls. This will start Microsoft Excel and open the ContractWriter Master File. VERY IMPORTANT: Select Enable Macros if requested. REMEMBER ALWAYS ENABLE MACROS If Prompted 4 SET the SCREEN RESOLUTION In ContractWriter, select Settings on the menu bar. Select Program Settings from the drop-down menu. Select the Display tab. Under Screen Resolution, select the setting that matches your monitor. Select OK. (You can change this setting at any time) More detailed information on these settings is available in the Settings Menu section of the ContractWriter Manual. 5 ENTER YOUR COMPANY INFORMATION Select Settings on the menu bar. Select Contractor Information from the drop-down menu. Enter your company information as requested. Select OK. (You may change this information at any time) More detailed information on these settings is available in the Settings Menu section of the ContractWriter Manual. 6 SAVE the MASTER FILE Select File on the menu bar. Select Save to Hard Drive from the drop-down menu. Select Yes at the 1st caution message. Select OK at the 2nd caution message. ContractWriter has been customized, saved, and is now ready to use.
